The Smith-Cotton DECA chapter hosted its second-annual "Trunk or Treat" Halloween event on October 31. More than 80 DECA members passed out candy and offered a safe environment for Halloween. The DECA chapter's efforts also raised funds for Educare of Pettis County.
"The turnout was amazing. We are estimating that over 3000 people came out last night! Traffic was everywhere. It was awesome for the students’ hard work to pay off so well. We gave away over $1,000 in candy—it was crazy," said Angie Dick, chapter advisor.
